2. Cancellation of Inquiries

If you have submitted an inquiry through CollegeVaani and wish to cancel:

2.1 Before Processing

• You may cancel your inquiry at any time before it is forwarded to partner institutions
• Contact us immediately via email or phone to request cancellation
• Provide your name, contact details, and inquiry reference (if available)

2.2 After Processing

• Once your inquiry has been shared with institutions, complete cancellation may not be possible
• We can request institutions to remove your information, but we cannot guarantee compliance
• You may receive communications from institutions even after cancellation request

3. Cancellation of Counseling Sessions

For scheduled counseling sessions with our education experts:

3.1 Free Counseling Sessions

• 24+ hours before: Cancel anytime with no restrictions
• Less than 24 hours: Please inform us as a courtesy so we can accommodate other students
• Repeated no-shows may affect your ability to book future sessions

3.2 Paid Counseling Sessions (if applicable)

• 48+ hours before: Full refund or free rescheduling
• 24-48 hours before: 50% refund or free rescheduling (one-time)
• Less than 24 hours: No refund; rescheduling subject to availability
• No-show: Session will be marked as completed; no refund

3.3 How to Cancel

• Email counseling@collegevaani.com with your booking details
• Reach our helpline team through your counselor dashboard
• Use the cancellation link in your confirmation email (if provided)

4. Cancellation of Subscription Services

If CollegeVaani offers subscription-based premium services:

4.1 Monthly Subscriptions

• Cancel anytime through your account settings or by contacting us
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle
• You retain access until the end of the paid period
• No partial refunds for the current month

4.2 Annual Subscriptions

• Within 7 days of purchase: Full refund if not used
• After 7 days: Pro-rated refund may be available (minus processing fees)
• After 30 days: No refund; service continues until expiry
• Contact us for specific cancellation terms

4.3 Auto-Renewal

• Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Cancel at least 48 hours before renewal to avoid being charged
• You will receive renewal reminders via email

5. Opting Out of Communications

You can opt out of various communications from CollegeVaani:

• Click the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any marketing email

• Transactional emails (inquiry confirmations, etc.) cannot be opted out

5.2 Phone Calls

• Inform our counselor during any call that you wish to opt out
• Send an SMS with "STOP" to our number
• Email us with your phone number and opt-out request

5.3 SMS/WhatsApp

• Reply "STOP" to any promotional message
• Contact us to be removed from messaging lists

6. Data Deletion Requests

You may request deletion of your personal data from our systems:

• Include your full name, email address, and phone number used for registration
• We will process your request within 30 days
• Some data may be retained for legal or operational requirements
• Data shared with partner institutions may not be deletable by us

7. Cancellation by CollegeVaani

CollegeVaani reserves the right to cancel services in the following situations:

• Terms Violation: If you violate our Terms and Conditions
• Fraudulent Activity: If fraudulent or abusive behavior is detected
• Inaccurate Information: If you provide false or misleading information
• Service Discontinuation: If we discontinue a particular service
• Technical Issues: If technical problems prevent service delivery

In case of cancellation by CollegeVaani for reasons not caused by the user, applicable refunds will be processed as per our Refund Policy.

8. Effect of Cancellation

Upon cancellation:

• Access to cancelled services will be terminated
• Any unused benefits or features will be forfeited
• You may continue using free services without interruption
• Data may be retained as per our Privacy Policy
• Refunds (if applicable) will be processed per our Refund Policy

9. Reinstatement

If you wish to reinstate cancelled services:

• Contact our support team to discuss options
• Reinstatement is subject to availability and current pricing
• Previous subscription benefits may not be transferable
• A new subscription may be required

10. Third-Party Services

Regarding services related to third parties:

• Cancellation of services with partner institutions must be done directly with them
• CollegeVaani cannot cancel admissions or applications on your behalf
• Institutional fee refunds are governed by respective institution policies
• We can assist in communication but cannot guarantee outcomes

11. Cancellation Fees

CollegeVaani does not charge cancellation fees for:

• Free services and inquiries
• Counseling session cancellations made within the allowed timeframe
• Subscription cancellations at the end of billing period

Processing fees may apply in certain situations as described in the relevant sections above.

12. Changes to This Policy

CollegeVaani may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. The policy applicable to your cancellation will be the one in effect at the time of your request.
