About GATE 2026
GATE is conducted annually by IITs/IISc on a rotational basis. It assesses candidates on their understanding of various undergraduate subjects in Engineering, Science, and Architecture. GATE scores are valid for 3 years and accepted by 1000+ institutes for M.Tech admissions and 50+ PSUs for recruitment.
