Academic Qualification Requirements

To be eligible for VITEEE 2026 and admission to B.Tech programs at VIT, candidates must meet the following academic criteria:

For B.Tech Programs:
  • Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board
  • Mandatory Subjects: Physics, Mathematics, and one of (Chemistry/Biology/Bio-Technology/Computer Science)
  • Minimum Aggregate Marks: 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology (PCM/PCB)
  • Individual Subject Minimum: 50% in each subject separately
  • For SC/ST Candidates: 50% aggregate in PCM/PCB
Important Notes:
  • Candidates appearing for 10+2 examination in 2026 are also eligible to apply
  • Final admission is subject to qualifying 10+2 with required marks
  • Students with Diploma in Engineering (after 10th standard) are also eligible
