What is B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology)?

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) is a four-year undergraduate engineering degree that is India's most sought-after professional program. With over 1.5 million students appearing for JEE Main annually, B.Tech opens doors to careers in technology, innovation, research, and entrepreneurship across diverse fields like Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil, and Chemical Engineering.

B.Tech combines theoretical knowledge with practical application through laboratory work, industry projects, internships, and research. The program prepares graduates for roles as Software Engineers, Data Scientists, VLSI Engineers, Mechanical Designers, Civil Engineers, or for higher studies (M.Tech, MBA, MS abroad) and entrepreneurship.

Career Impact: B.Tech graduates from IITs earn average packages of ₹18-25 LPA, with top packages reaching ₹1-2 Crore+ from companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon. Even Tier-2/3 college graduates earn ₹3-8 LPA starting salaries, making engineering India's highest-paying undergraduate degree.

Why Choose B.Tech? Engineering skills are in global demand with opportunities in FAANG companies, MNCs, PSUs, research labs, startups, and entrepreneurship. B.Tech graduates have the flexibility to pivot to management (MBA), data science, product management, consulting, or start their own tech ventures.
