AIIMS Rae Bareli

Established in 2018, AIIMS Rae Bareli operates as a pivotal institute of national importance under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. It functions as a tertiary care referral center for the Purvanchal region, significantly enhancing healthcare access. Academically, it offers the flagship MBBS program alongside nursing courses, with plans to expand postgraduate seats. Training is deeply integrated with its 750-bed teaching hospital, which includes specialized facilities like a 30-bed ICU and a trauma center, providing students with extensive clinical exposure from the outset. The campus, spread over 134 acres in Munshiganj, features a distinct academic block, a well-equipped library, and separate hostels. Its infrastructure supports both medical education and advanced patient care, embodying the AIIMS mandate to address regional healthcare disparities through education, service, and research.
